Review: Enchanted Stockwood

A magical show of light has taken over Stockwood Discovery Centre this December!

This magical installation from Ulf Pedersen transforms the beautiful gardens by night with an array of colour. Although it was a chilly night, the trip was so worth it – check out my video to see why…

You arrive at your ticket time, but the tour is self led and you can walk round as many times as you like. It’s mostly buggy friendly and easy walking, although a little dark at times so tread carefully.

To warm up there’s a BBQ with meat, veggie and vegan options plus biscuits, cakes and snacks. Mulled wine (alcoholic and non alcoholic) was also very welcome!

We’d already fed the kids but devoured our delicious burgers whilst they had toffee apples and popcorn. We ate our BBQ food inside the (warm) cafe – nicely refurbished since we last visited – before doing another lap of the trail. Food and drinks were both well priced and great quality.

As a bonus, the gift shop was open and on the way out we also got to check out some gorgeous Christmas goods and gifts.

Parking at Stockwood Discovery Centre is free and there are toilets and baby changing facilities too.

Enchanted Stockwood runs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from now until 23rd December. You can book online at lutonculture.com
